I go for a walk around the block with Tyson and record it on video. Sort of lame, but still gives you an idea of what life in The Jungle is like.
Oh... and the part where Tyson jumps up on my friend with the little dog is a rare thing: It was a bit of a tease for Tyson to have his little nemesis way up there where he couldn't get to him, so that is why he did it. Normally, he would have gotten a smack for jumping up like that... but then normally, it would never have happened. Besides, I imagine it would have been a bit ghetto videotaping myself smacking my dog around.

Tyson needs to learn how to walk properly on a leash. You should get one of those training leash-collar combinations. The collar part fits snugly on the upper part of the neck just behind the ears rather than lower down near the chest where dogs can pull. If you leave the leash slack then give it a sharp jerk, it will get Tyson's attention. Rahab used to pull me every which way, but now she's really good on the leash.
Jassan looks like a nice, clean, friendly town. Or at least the bit where you live is. I hope that our new subdivision in Liloan will be like that.

Words of warning - You have a big dog (great pet, if trained right) and he NEEDS to be trained better -than, I can see in this video. Just my opinion.

Tyson is only 10 months old. He is actually at the point now where he is visibly improving a little every day. I've never owned a dog before... so I have no idea where Tyson ranks, behavior wise (but probably behind... I'm not that good at training dogs). Usually, once he gets over his initial enthusiasm about going for a walk (after 2 or 3 minutes of being out), and when he isn't playing with the other dogs (which I allow), he doesn't pull at all.
Primarily and most importantly though, I don't consider Tyson to be dangerous to any person. (Chickens... different story.) I have no problem letting Tyson run around on the big field without a leash. I have no worries letting little kids walk up to Tyson. That, of course, especially with a Doberman, is the primary consideration... and with that aspect of my pet, I'm very content.

Yes... Jasaan is lovely, especially the area where I live, but really most other parts of it as well. Some of the little suburbs way out in the Jungle are simply something out of a picture book.
Oh... by the way: The reason, at the beginning of the video, that Tyson yanked the leash out of my hand, was because when I opened the gate, I had to hold the leash and the camera in the same hand, so I had a better grip on the camera than I did on the leash. Tyson always makes a beeline for the bushes right outside the gate when I open it up. (Like I said, he always starts off his walks a bit excited.) I didn't really have to "run after him"... Tyson just did his usual trot past all the bushes, realized I wasn't with him, thought for a second about going for a gallop, but then came back to me and I picked his leash back up.
