Wow, pretty big for just 7 months. We just got a dobie pup a few weeks ago. She's just 11 weeks old and already getting almost too big to carry. Now I have an idea what she'll look like when she grows into her big feet and ears.
There are two reasons why Tyson's ears are still this way. First of all, our vetineraian stated that we should wait until after 12 weeks of age to clip his ears. Then, at about 10 weeks of age, I went and checked on the internet, and it said make sure you get the ears clipped before 12 weeks of age or else it won't take.
By that time though anyway, I decided that Tyson's ears are really great little tools that he has to express himself. They go up and down whether he is happy or sad or back and forward when he is excited. They really speak for him.
I never really cared one way or the other about the tail.

Jil,
Aint you supposed to clip the ears of that kind of dog?

Also... it's kind of "stylish" to not clip dobies ears anymore. So I'm accidentally ahead of the curve on that one.
Love both pictures, Jil. Thanks for getting the camera so we can all "see" your life in Jasaan. Tyson is growing up. He's ONLY 7 months old?
