Daily Report #1798

Today was the 1,798th day in my life that I didn't do anything special, interesting, or even particularly worth mentioning.

I got in a light morning of work, and then had hotdog-sauce spaghetti for lunch. (Maid Susan's idea... not mine.) Then, I took a nap, and worked some more. Then I took a break for dinner, and had ground pork and green beans in a bit of a brown sauce over rice. Then yet a little more work.

A local mosque across the valley from
my house. I didn't expect there to be
any muslims living outside the
Autonomous Region of Mindanao, but
there are a few.
Tonight, we watched the second Pirates of the Caribbean. (Susan and Ednil haven't seen these movies yet, and Epril and I don't mind watching them again.) One thing I've noticed is that Maid Susan, Epril, and Ednil, all sisters, have the exact same laugh... not even the slightest difference. It's kind of a weird thing to hear when all three laugh at the same time, like somebody laughing into an echo machine.

Bread jelly? 0_ñ

There are places to find bar girls around here, and the girls are nicer looking than the average Pattaya girl. Heck: They are even prettier than the above-average Pattaya girls. However, prices for short time are 3,000 pesos all-inclusive, plus I'm told you should give a bit of extra cash at the end as well.

I'd pass on bombing any mosques thanks. Things are nice and quiet here.

What is 3,000 pesos compared to Baht?
LOL I was wondering about the bread jelly too. Hey has the Howling from the mosque woke you up at 0400 yet? LoL.

3,000 pesos is about 2,400 baht.

That mosque in the photo is about 2 miles away, shot with a zoom lens. If you stand out on the balcony when the muezzin is being sung, you can barely hear it.

Anon,

Thanks for the comment but I had to delete it. I don't allow insulting comments (especially about my in-laws) on my blog.

If you care to rephrase your comment in a way that is less critical of Catholocism or Epril's family, you are always more than welcome to try again.

(if this is your in-law; I feel sorry for you)

Heh, Anon 5:49: No... sorry for the misunderstanding. There was a comment by another Anon which is no longer here to be read which was not very kind to Epril's family or their religious views. That comment has been deleted, and appeared just prior to my own comment at 9:07.

The first Anon (4:05) was just weird... not insulting.

I think I just figured it out: See, this is why I really shouldn't allow anonymous comments on my blog: You get several people with the same name (anonymous) commenting and nobody can figure out which "anonymous" is which, or if they are the same or different person.

Anonymous 5:49, you must be the anonymous commenter whose comment I deleted. I thought your comment was referring to Epril's family and what they were doing for Easter... but instead you were talking about Joey Doughnuts, eh?

I got that part confused... you should have explained it a little bit better, instead of just stating that "[some people] keep this blog interesting" and then going on to criticize Christians and Christianity... specifically referring to the crucifixion, right after I got done blogging about what Epril and her family were doing for Easter.

Well, anyway, sorry. While I would prefer people to be nice on the blog... and try to be civil to each other, I wouldn't have deleted your comment for the anti-christian bias if I hadn't thought that it was a poke at my in-laws religious beliefs instead of those of another commenter: Epril's family are all regular readers here.
