I think the best way to describe this is "breakdancing of the hands" (or a decidedly more heterosexual version of voguing). The music is annoying as all hell... but at the same time, it goes quite well with the disjointed-yet-fluid and almost mathematical movements of what is admittedly and obviously an extremely difficult and precise form of dance.
