How much does Obama love his pizza? So much that he is willing to fly a chef 860 miles to Washington D.C. to make him a personal pizza.Stupidity Meets Reality: The pizza chef was already in D.C. on personal business at his own expense, and just made a side trip to the White House to make a pizza... and Obama even paid for the ingredients out of his own pocket.
Hey, you guys know what says you are really sincere about this whole Global Warming thing that you want to use to justify an economy crushing cap and trade program? Jetting a dude across the country to make you a freaking pie.
And you know what says you have a real solid handle on the economic concerns of citizens who are struggling through the recession? Jetting a dude across the country to "hand toss your dough".
Remember kids: Check your facts. There really are people out there who actually get paid to make you stupider.
UPDATE:
I'll make this a standing order on this blog: If you come across any really clear-cut, simple and obvious examples of people getting caught twisting facts in order to mislead their readers or to create false conclusions, pop them into the comments section, and I'll put up the best ones in their own "Fact Check Of The Day" post.

Although you and I do not agree on everything - I do think you are right about this issue. To many times I am talking with friends/co-workers who have an opinion on something and when I start asking questions I find out several interesting things: first, they know very little about the topic and normally the less they know the stronger their feels are about that issue; second, they always make very big statements as if it is fact with nothing to back it up with, it is as if some people just feel that actual facts are irrelevant to what they believe or feel and then challenge that statement (is not fact) and they look at you as if you just insulted them; and third, some (or maybe most) people will believe anything they see or hear on TV, Radio, or the Internet.
I always have a good laugh when I am reading a blog or journal and to prove the point they link to....another blog or journal. We in America are not teaching critical thinking well - and certainly not teach how to ask questions/find answers - in civil discourse.
