Truly a jejune Monday. I woke up, walked 15 feet from my bed to my office. At lunch time, I walked 15 feet from my office to lunch. After lunch, I walked 15 feet back to my office. At bedtime, I walked from my office back to my bed.
Well, sometimes Monday's deserve to be treated that way.

Nope - at our age you need exercise. Get your ass up and start working out. Walking, running, bikicle, gym, weights, or better even - Philippine martial arts (when I was deployed there last year we did Philippine martials arts, including stickfighting, awesome workout -lots of bruises though).
Get back in shape, Jil. It can be done by guys our age. I have been training for the Honolulu marathon and believe I will run it faster then I did when I ran my first one when I was 25 (3:30). Get out. work out.

I so totally agree.
The problem is that with me, it's always "get out of bed and get to work" and then "finish lunch and get back to work" and then "get to bed early so you can wake up in the morning" (completely independent of how much work I get done, I'm sorry to say), and I've essentially lost the discipline to set aside part of my day to be a "no work... exercise" or "no work... read a novel" or "no work... anything else" hour.
(Really, the only time I ever leave the house is when my friends invite me, or Epril drags me. Fortunately, one of either of those happen at least few times per week on average. Well... those as well as the Friday and Sunday expatriate get-togethers which Epril and I try not to miss.)
There could be a small reason to take pride in my workaholic attitude if I didn't consistently squander several of my putatively-sought-after work hours in online sciolistic pursuit of politics, economics, history, and linguistics each day. But, that's what I do. It's what I've done for a long time now.
Thanks for the admonishment Chief. I was talking to Epril yesterday about this exact subject as well.

Look it up in the internet. Pay the money, get the DVDs, buy the dumbbells, pull-up bar, mat and most importantly commit to the training - BRING IT!!!!!!
Jil, with the right intensity and commitment, IT WORKS!
