I sure hope your wrong. I got a feeling if he gets elected he will get shot and that is going to open up a whole can of worms we just cant deal with in our country at this time.

That's a fair thought Dago, but try not to be morbid.

The "election bookmakers" (see here for the best) currently have the election at Obama 67.4% likely to win, and John McCain at 32.6% likely to win. They currently have Obama at 312 electoral votes, and McCain at 226 electorial votes... an 86 E.V. difference.

My prediction is really just a coin toss: Will Obama generate a bigger lead (past 100 electoral votes) or have a smaller lead or keep the same lead (less than 100 electorial votes)? Based on the trends right now, almost every state is slowly moving towards Obama and away from McCain. My prediction probability is about the same as the bookmaker's "Win Percentage" I would estimate.

I dont put much stock in what "THEY" say. It seems the early front runner ALWAYS peters out in the end. However I will put stock in the fact there seems to be a large uptick in regestered voters this year. Especially in the Black community, what a shame raceism at its finest, but no one says anything about that now do they.

There is also the fact that the current lead (which has held steady for the last month) that Obama has is two to four times greater than what Kerry and Gore had at this point in the campaign, and in addition, more importantly, Obama has the added bonus of having his challenger be the same political party as one of the most disliked Presidents in American history. (Which just goes to show you how bad a candidate John Kerry was... actually losing to one of the most disliked Presidents in American history.)

"he will get shot"...now that is interesting given the current leader is one of most most unpopular figures in the world and may go down as the worst leader of the USA...EVER.
Yet, he has managed to ride out his term.
