Just watching a bit of "Take Home Chef" at 4 a.m. and 2 commercials in a row came on selling: Female orgams, both mechanical and medicinal.
First was an advertisement for the Trojan Triphoria... a vibrator, and next was an advert for Zestra... which is apparently some kind of stimulating lotion.
Really? Are there really women in America sitting up at 4 a.m. looking for sexual release like their male counterparts? Have men no domain in life they can strictly call their own anymore?
You have done an awful lot of complaining since you came back to the US, haven't you, Jil?
ReplyDeleteMy goodness! I hadn't noticed! You're right... I never complained about things in Asia when I was there. Never complained about the traffic, the poor shopping options, the poor dining options, the poor service, the poor medical care, the poor government, the poor education, the ignorance, the housing, product quality, road quality, beach quality, the crime, the pollution, the garbage, the bugs and insects, the corruption, the ripoffs, the payoffs...
ReplyDeleteYou're right... since I never wrote about those things on my blog, why on earth would I want to write about sex toys being advertised on television?
Thanks for opening my eyes Kris! You certainly are observant.
Ok ok Jil, point taken. You forgot the tags though.
ReplyDeleteI wrote the comment as I realised that I did exactly the same 10 years or so ago when we came back to Europe from Hong Kong. Now I realise that, instead of bitterly complaining about all sorts of things, instead I shoud have embraced new opportunities and a new way of life. Things would've been easier.
I notice that a lot of people seem to confuse "Jil the Person" with "Jungle Jil the Blog": that everything I write on this blog is everything I think or do. Of course that's not the case. I only put things on this blog that (a) I find interesting, and (b) I'm willing to share about myself and my life.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird sometimes to see people make these assumptions about what is occupying my time or my thoughts just based on what I write on a blog. I spend 23 hours and 45 minutes a day barely thinking about this blog, and sometimes I even come back and see posts that I've written just a few days ago that I had forgotten about completely... like this one (until it was commented on).
I was sitting here with my computer on my lap, saw the 2 commercials, looked up the links on the internet, took 3 minutes to write the post, hit save, and then promptly forgot I had even written it. That's how much time I spend complaining since I've gotten back to the U.S.
Men are un-necessary now,ask any lesbian who has bore a child ,in-vitro...and it is true that Men are becoming increasingly un-necessary.it is no small wonder that they have little left of domains to call their own.what is worse is Men thought of and developed the very things creating/destroying their obsolescense/purpose.while they will never be completeyly w/out use some feminazi's will no doubt see the situation as some sort of 'deliverance'from evil.what with all the facts available about how women are smarter and so necessary to life, blah blah blah.Ha Ha Ha
